Sometimes it seems like art school is a real drag: lots of stupid random projects that have nothing to do with what you really want to in the future. BUT, you must remember it will all be worth it one day when you are a big time graphic designer, you will look back and think how trivial that masking tape shoe was, how learning how to deal with things outside of your forte helped you grow into a better, stronger artist. Nothing was ever guaranteed to be easy, so put your nose to grind stone and give it all you’ve got. It will pay off in the long run. You are already seeing the fruits of your labor at work.
So in the meantime, perk up buttercup! I know you will be successful in all that you do simply because of how hard you work; don’t you ever let frustration or self doubt cloud your vision and keep you from reaching your fullest potential. <3
